 Cells
A large volume cell designed for corrosion experiments which meets the requirements for many ASTM corrosion specifications.
The cell features a large 40/35 centre neck opening which can accept a variety of metal corrosion sample mounts. A water jacket allows thermal control of cell contents.
Standard equipment shipped with each cell includes a reference electrode with Luggin tube, platinum counter electrode with isolation tube, digital thermometer with Thermo-Well, dual gas inlet for purging/blanketing cell solution, and a condenser tube.
This standard 125 mL cell features three ground glass necks and two Ace #7 screw-thread  openings. The centre neck (24/40) is large enough to easily accommodate a rotating electrode. The two side necks are smaller (14/20) and can be used to mount reference and auxiliary electrodes.
This cell has an integrated water jacket that can be used to heat the contents of the main cell chamber.
Deaeration of the cell contents can be accomplished using the Ace screw-thread connections to mount gas inlet/outlet lines. Alternately, small diameter electrodes may be mounted using one or both screw-threads.
A complete set of Teflon stoppers for sealing the cell is also included.
This product combination gives you everything you need to set up a traditional three-electrode voltammetry experiment. This glass cell
(125 mL) comes equipped with a silver/silver chloride reference electrode, platinum counter electrode, and a set of Teflon stoppers. For the single working electrode included in this package, you may choose either glassy carbon, gold, or platinum as the electrode material.
