TSS describes multiplexed electrochemical measurements
Uniscan Instruments has announced the release of a new Technical Sales Supplement (TSS#13). The document compares the advantages of multi-channel measurements over multiplexed systems.
The use of a digital, computer controlled potentiostat has automated many of the routine electrochemical measurements that are undertaken in corrosion and sensor studies. The model PG581 hand-held, portable potentiostat has a built-in multiplexing switch which can be accessed with the PG581-2 cable and the latest version of UiEChem™ and UiECorr™ software. By using the PG581 with the PG581-2 cable set long-term studies can be performed without the necessity for the operator to be present. TSS#13 describes the use of the PG581 potentiostat with the PG581-2 cable set for making multiplexed measurement.
TSS#13 is available free of charge to registered users of electrochemical instrumentation. http://www.uniscan.com/exhibitions-meetings-and-technical-details/applications
