Technical Note 14 released relating work function to corrosion potential . . . .
Technical Note 14 relates work function to corrosion potential. Stratmann and others described the theory behind the relationship between the corrosion potential of a metal and the Kelvin probe potential measurement. In the same series of papers, the method was demonstrated using Cu, Fe and Zn standards as calibration standards. This Techical Note demonstrates the same procedure using the Uniscan Model M370 Scanning Electrochemical Workstation.
