Uniscan announces latest version of hand-held portable potentiostat
Uniscan Instruments announces the introduction of the Model PG581 hand-held portable potentiostat. Whilst retaining the innovative features of the previous model the PG581 adds further enhancements to make this a truly portable instrument.
The PG581 is designed to make those important field measurements and bring the data back to the laboratory for subsequent analysis. A real-time graphics screen allows data to be viewed as it is taken and the addition of data storage onto a miniSD card means that experiments can be run in the field without a computer.
The latest version of the UiEChem™ and UiECorr™ software packages allow the user to easily construct protocols for long term testing of samples. A new Autosequencing routine facilitates the chaining of experiment types and procedures that have repeated or time-delayed parameters.
Application areas for the instrument include Corrosion, Trace metal analysis and Electrochemical Sensors
