Uniscan Instruments is a privately owned Company established over 20 years. We focus on designing, developing and manufacturing electrochemistry instrumentation and surface measurement systems.
Uniscan manufactures a wide range of electrochemistry and corrosion measurement instrumentation including multi-channel and portable potentiostats, electrochemical impedance analysers and novel scanning electrochemical workstation systems designed to quantify and map electrochemical reactions in two dimensions.
Our customers are primarily researchers within academic research, research institutes, or industrial laboratories. Our customers produce world-class research and develop technologies that are used in novel products and applications within the medical diagnostics, renewable energy, energy storage, and materials testing and research fields.
Uniscan’s dedicated design team has extensive resource and expertise in the design of novel low noise voltage and current measurement systems applied to the development of our powerful digital potentiostats and impedance analysers and our software development team is continually developing the Company’s full suite of electrochemical and corrosion analysis techniques.
The project team at Uniscan has several decades of research and development experience and has successfully participated in national and international collaborative research projects including framework 5, 6 and 7 EU projects.
Uniscan has won several prestigious awards for technical and business development as well as export success. We supply instrumentation to the world's premier research laboratories and our Company is dedicated to an ongoing process of product research and development, currently committing 35% of revenue to R&D, and sponsoring research programmes in several Universities.
