3300
Multi-channel Electrochemical
Impedance Analyser
The 3300 is a new generation of instrumentation with the FRA and potentiostat mounted on a standard format card rack. By utilising the latest ARM Cortex A8 processor device the 3300 provides the speed, versatility and precision required for electrochemical applications in a multi-channel format.
As well as having higher standard current and voltage capabilities the 3300 has a large dynamic range that gives a superb low current capability without the requirement for add-ons.
The impedance measuring capabilities of the 3300 make it an ideal choice in many applied and fundemental research areas: -
- Materials characterisation
- Electrodeposition studies
- Combinatorial electrochemistry
- Fuel-cell catalysts
- Corrosion
- Energy storage
- Sensor development / Q.C.
- Research electrochemistry
The 3300 EIS channel is installed in a chassis which can accommodate up to 16 channels and has full EIS and dc capabilities which make it ideal for a wide range of electrochemistry applications. Its multi-channel capability allows variable testing rates and higher work throughput. Where space is at a premium a small footprint 5-channel system is available.
Each channel can be addressed individually or channels can be grouped together to perform experiments types or sequences of experiments to provide true simultaneous multi-channel performance.
Higher standard current capability and compliance voltage allow the 3300 to be used in a wide range of demanding applications such as corrosion, fuel cell and energy storage. The 3300 also combines a wide dynamic range with ultra low current capability for demanding applications in nano-technology, microelectrode, and sensor applications without the requirement for optional plug-in low current amplifiers.
Where external devices such as temperature controllers, pH meters and stirrers are incorporated into the electrochemical cell there is a possibility that the sample under investigation might be grounded. The 3300 allows electrochemical measurements to be made with grounded samples.
