Multi-Channel Potentiostat Power Booster

The 3100 is a new generation of multi-channel high current instrumentation. By utilising the latest processor devices the 3100 provides the speed, versatility and precision required for electrochemical applications in a multi-channel format.

Each 3102 Booster module is installed in the 3100 chassis which can accommodate up to eight 3102 modules. The booster channel then connects to a PG580RM module which is installed in its own chassis. The 3100 has full dc capabilities and is ideal for a wide range of electrochemical applications. Its multi-channel capability allows variable testing rates and higher work throughput than conventional designs.

 With our unique laminar flow paths and on-board micro controlled proportional speed fans you can be certain of a total heat management system coupled with low noise air movement levels.

In higher current applications the cable impedance in the working electrode lead may lead to errors in the potential and current readings. To compensate for this error the 3102 modules are equipped with the ability to make four terminal measurements.

Software

Support for the 3100 comes as standard with our software packages UiEChem™ and UiECorr™. The software package automatically recognises a booster module is attached to the potentiostat channel and then seamlessly provides support for the increased current and voltage capability. Auto current ranging is available from the nano Amp to Amp range without the necessity to change the cable set or install low current modules.
