PG580RM Multi - Channel Potentiostat - Galvanostat

The Uniscan PG580RM is a high quality, digital scanning multi-channel potentiostat system. The design provides a user configurable instrument for demanding research applications.

  • Research laboratory performance.
  • From 2 channel to 14 channel operation.
  • Powerful Windows™ software with full suite of electrochemical and corrosion techniques.
  • USB connection.
  • User programmable techniques via powerful macro-programming language.
  • Ultra-low noise, low current performance.
  • Fast sweep capability.
  • Wide current range.

The PG580RM is a computer controlled multi-channel potentiostat system. The system can be configured from 2 to 14 channels which can be controlled independently or be used in conjunction with other channels to perform simultaneous experiments on different electrodes.

The PG580RM system interfaces to a computer via a USB connection, and is controlled using our versatile UiEChem™ or UiECorr™ software. All major techniques for electrochemistry and corrosion are available. The software also includes a powerful macro programming facility which allows the user to define custom experiments, sweeps, analysis and data manipulation. All experimental parameters and data display are implemented on the PC in a Windows™ software application with full detailed graph and convenient filing of data objects. The user interface can be designed by the operator to display the data in any desired format.

Software

  • 32 bit Windows™ software.
  • UiEChem™ suite of electrochemical techniques including:
  • Cyclic and linear voltammetry.
  • Square wave voltammetry.
  • Normal and differential pulse voltammetry.
  • Chronoamperometry and chronopotentiometry.
  • User definable experiments via macro programming.
  • UiECorr™ suite of corrosion techniques including:
  • ECorr vs Time.
  • Potentiostatic polarization.
  • Galvanoststic polarization.
  • Potentiodynamic polarization.
  • Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR).
  • Zero Resistance Ammetry (ZRA).
  • Tafel.
